Announcements
Lytham Cricket Club are delighted to announce the Saturday captains for our inaugural season in the MHA Northern Pyramid League.
Ryan Norris has been re-appointed as our 1st XI Captain following a successful debut season in the role. His leadership and commitment have been instrumental in driving the team forward, and we look forward to building on that success.
We’re also pleased to confirm that Ray Baker has volunteered his wealth of cricketing and leadership experience to take on the role of 2nd XI Captain, an offer the committee eagerly accepted. This position plays a vital part in the club’s development, particularly as we aim to progress up the pyramid and foster an environment that supports both senior and junior players.
Excitingly, this season brings a more localised fixture list, with eight of our league matches taking place within 30 minutes of Church Road. Previously, our closest away game required an hour’s travel, with many averaging over 75 minutes. We hope this change will help our younger players develop and thrive within senior cricket.
Stay tuned to our social media channels for more insights into our team leaders and updates throughout the season.
